I remember when God first began lifting me out of my debilitating anxiety. I wasn’t sure if He would be able to. I hadn’t been able to. Eastern meditation hadn’t helped. Nothing I had tried had worked.

Each day, I would wake up almost surprised that God was still there—gently reassuring me in small ways that it was okay, and that He would carry me through.

One of the ways He reassured me more deeply was through It’s Okay to Not Be Okay by Sheila Walsh. It gathered many of the pearls the Holy Spirit had already been showing me and wove them into a clear, practical understanding that helped me stand in strength.

I highly recommend it.
